CovTracker GH app for iPhone and iPad

CovidTracker has been created by the Ministry of Education, Ghana to help record Covid-19 Cases across Ghanaian Educational Institutions. Not only does the app help record, document and track suspected and confirmed cases, it is also a system that helps heads of educational institutions and educational management to request for PPEs and other resources that help in the fight against the Covid-19 spread in schools.

This app feeds a system with the collected data where stakeholders; educational authorities - Ghana Education Service, health authorities - Ghana Health Service and the Covid19 Presidential Taskforce at districts, regional and national levels use the data for analaysis and decision-making to manage the Covid-19 situation across educational institutions in the country.

Additionally, the CovidTracker helps the aggregation of Covid-19 related cases in a central location for proactive management decision-making to curb the spread of this pandemic. The app has been designed to meet the requirements of the Ghana Data Protection Law, Data Protection Act 2012 (Act 843).

Privacy by Design and Privacy by Defult has been the foundation of the design of the app. Stakeholders were duly consulted and their recommendations and suggestion has made this app safe to use.
